Default Havasu in October

Going to a Trade show in Vegas October 15-17.
Anything going on the weekend before or after? (10/13-14 or 10/19-21) October 19 is my B-day so thought I might just celebrate at the party capital of the west!!

The jet ski worlds are in October sometime, other than that Havasu in October is very tame compared to the summer months. I was there for a week last October and it was mellow. If you are looking to party for your birthday, may want to stay in Vegas.

I'm considering staying in Las Vegas but I really want to live to see my next b-day too

On the water you can't beat London Bridge Resort (docks available to guests, nice rooms, etc.). LB can be pricey though. We prefer to stay at the Hampton Inn... very nice rooms, comfortable beds, and rooms will run you less than $125 per night. I think we usually pay about $110 with AAA discount.

There usually is a poker run, not like Desert Storm, but about 50 boats that middle weekend of October.
