Taking a guess - It was a 39 Extreme, Owned by Bob Teague and also for sale in the classifieds for around $200K. Last time I looked in the hatch there were some supercharged engines in it and big diameter tailpipes make the big noise.

Those "big steps" and the bottom design have gone through lot of changes to address handling issues - call Mark Spates at Extreme Powerboats (the manufacturer) if you want to know more.

Hey Greg thanks. Yah, that's what Tom was saying too. Thing looked like it was running good on Sunday, but then again I was half in the bag...

I guess James nailed it, although I thought he was just guessing! James, by the way, stop by on Friday at the Poker Run and we'll take a run in the Pantera!
