Hi all,

This will be my first trip to Havasu and I'm really looking forward to it. Staying at the Nautical Inn from Wed - Monday. Looks like a great weekend. I'll be covering the Poker Run for Extreme Boats Mag and then working the OSS races on the weekend.

Poker run on Friday
Speed runs, POPRA race and OSS testing on Saturday
OSS Racing on Sunday

My question is - Where's the place to go at night? I understand the street party is great on Thursday night, but what about Wed night, Friday and Saturday nights?

Any other advice for a first timer?

See ya there,
Ron

The bar at your hotel( naked turtle) is going to be the place to be. You won't want to go driving around town much because there are more cops there than boats.

Just stay at the Turtle Ron. Plenty of fun there at night and you can stumble home. We had a blast there last year. At least thats what they told me every morning. haha. See you when you get back.

stay at the hotel bar and be "in like flint" each day. don't you have work to do? are we going to read copy?
if you are 21 go out every night. life is shorter each day.
cops are on duty. big time. bottled water is your only friend.
have fun. over.

Roger that. This is a work trip for me. Cover the Poker Run on Thurs and Friday and then work the races on the weekend. Of course I need to cover the nightly activities too. Its all part of the job. I'm looking to a fun couple of days in an environment that is totally foreign to me and 90% of the OSS teams.

BJ's is nice if you are up on the hill - maybe after the street party.
