Thinking of a trip to Seattle after Big Cat this august. Any events? Where to launch? Hotels on the water with docks? Hmmmm..? 382 Fastech 700NXT's...Whats this I hear about floating logs? Will they go through my sea strainers?,,,,lots of questions

Try and make it by the first weekend in August. Seafair is a party on the water! Blue angels, hydro races, 1000's of boats. Thats in Lake Washington--no worries about logs or anything else. Do a search on you tube if you want to see some videos of the action.
If you go out into the sound there could be the occasional log floating around but for the most part its clean water...I rarely see anything out floating around...LOTS of places to go in the salt.
