The river was unusually quite this weekend. Cruised up river yesterday and ran pretty hard across the lake to Hope. Back at the dock later in the evening one of the lake sheriff deputy’s stopped by to remind me to put the invasive species check point sticker on the boat but didn’t say anything about noise. I know they heard me earlier, I detoured around two of them on the river and one near Hope. Excuse the dock, wife got crazy with the wood treatment last summer.

Pouring footers for a cabin, looking to get the foundation and plumbing in this summer and frame up next year. Roughing it for now.

The Joey Gratton Memorial fun run is on New Year’s Day in Sarasota if you could make it.
It’s not Key West but usually nice weather and 100+ boats.

We were there for three days using the "new" dock. Left yesterday morning so I didn't see you cruise by, however we saw a couple DCBs.

This is the boat we will be in when we come back for the event and will mostly be staying on the river as its not a good rough water boat!
Hoodoo, my boat will be transported to Washington immediately after the Key West run. I will get a few Florida trips and be glad to then have the boat in my shop for the winter.

Hoodoo, your Phantom looks and sounds like it's a good performer.
What's the lowdown on it? Or is there a detailed thread on here about it?

Yeah it’s a fun boat to drive and runs really strong. Old school big carbed tall decks.
Dynoed 728@5400/782@4600. Phantom needs more engine hatch options though, we had to put temporary spacers under the hinges for clearance until we can come up with something different. Otherwise love the cockpit.

Only had one morning for a shakedown run before loading up to haul to the lake for the summer. Ran 93 with 29p 6 blades but it wanted more prop. Running 30p 4 blade hydramotives now but haven’t pushed them yet.

Will checking for leaks.

Does anyone know if the Laclede Boat Launch can handle a 29 Fever? It is the closest launch to our VRBO and would be easier than shuttling from say Dover.

The Laclede ramp can easily handle that and has a long dock. We launched my buddies 340 MTI there no problems but parking is limited.
