The timing was really good as it turned out. A few days later forest fires broke out near Priest River and Trestle Creek. Visibility got terrible but there was quite an air show on the river with the air tractors and some larger seaplanes filling up their tanks.

I grew up 50 miles southwest of that spot.
This is the nicest time of year. Days are warm, skies are clear, nights crisp and trees turning. I can smell the air just looking at the picture. |
Are you guys already planning this run for 2022? I’d like to make it this year for sure.
