I was in Sagle yesterday and it was pouring rain. No bueno

The lake will be fine but I’m nervous about the creek/ditch I irrigate out of. It has several springs that keep it going but I’d think they’re also somewhat dependent on the snowpack. It hasn’t gotten critically low in the 15 or so years I’ve been there but it would be really bad $$ wise to lose it.

Looking good 👍. We are scheduled to sign papers next Friday morning, guess its really going to happen. There goes my supercharger plans for the boat this winter 😂.
I think my static compression is too high to ever go that route with mine. But my boat is definitely slower at the lake. I stopped by Lance’s dock last summer and he asked about the na setup. I thought the fresh water vs salt water was a bigger impact. Maybe not, it does run rich up there but I didn’t think 2200’ was high enough to have much effect. |

Its a lousy start, that's for sure. Still a lot of winter left, but it might be a travel year. We are gonna have a lousy summer if we dont get any snowpack to refill Pend Oreille 😛

does pend orielle level actually fluctuate? Don’t think I’ve ever seen it up or down. Just seems to be the same height each summer for past 45 years.
It’s regulated by the dam just downstream from Priest River. “Summer pool” is maintained between Memorial Day and roughly October 1st. In October the level is decreased to accommodate spring snow melt I assume. The decreased water level is more obvious on the river. But yeah, to your point, the river and lake are maintained at a consistent summer level. |

It goes down 11 feet, pretty much everyone on the lake and river has mud flats under their docks right now, and about 8 months out of the year. Actually a source of contention among owners and Bonneville power. https://savependoreille.org/overview/ |

It’s been an unusually cool and cloudy winter here but we had really nice weather for New Year’s.
