Okay guys, we have it on the calendar, a poker run on May 20 with the West KY Power Boat Association. Here is what we have so far.

The charity is the kids at community services, a local children's home located between Paducah and Nashville, in Murray KY. The money will be used for the annual Christmas Party for kids who have been removed by the state for a variety of reasons (typically abuse of horrible nature) and will be in the children's home over the holidays.

We need 8 boats to carry a couple of the kids on the first leg of the poker run. These must be NON-DRINKING boats. We also need boats to carry coolers for the non-drinking boats so they can get them at the first stop.

It will be at KY lake, running from the dam south, then back north.

After the event is complete we will have dinner and dancing at the lodge, BYOB.

Admission fee will be $100 for members and $150 for non members (more than usual, but it is damn expensive to put on a great Christmas for these kids). This gets you one boat entered, two shirts, and two dinner tickets. To participate you must have proof of insurance or be a club member.

Cool, thanks Ken, this will be a lot of fun taking kids who likely never get to do much of any thing getting to ride in these boats. I will count you in as a "non-dringking" boat.

For all others, the "non-drinking" portion is the first hour or so of the run, after that we will let the house parents take back over and we will be off doing our usual thing....
