We're gettin pounded right now with that damn weather. Moor's probably will be closed for a few more weeks. My campground doesn't open until around St. Patty's Day, Moor's could be the same, but not sure.
The place that Mitch (Mama Tryed) speaks of is pretty nice too. It's about a 2 minute drive to KY Dam marina. It's also a 2 minute drive to I-24 which is the way you'll be coming in. KYDM has the biggest slips on this side of the lake so I'm sure they can accomodate you. |

Moor's is a pretty good drive on land and about 10 minutes from the Dam by boat. It's tricky going back and forth though because of the channel. Some people just go straight through though.
I think the big poker run party is at Kentucky Dam Marina on Friday night, right Mitch? The Moor's is a campground with some cottages that'll be pretty hopping on Friday and Saturday night. KDM and the place that Mitch recommends is real close to the interstate. The Moor's is about 10 miles or a little more off the interstate. |

If you party at the Moor's it won't be 3-4 in the morning, it'll be until the sun comes up if you stop at all.
