I'm on midnights big daddy.... October 25th: 2nd Annual Booze Crooze. Launch at the riverfront at 11am, ride down Cumberland for one last time before winterization. Last year was a blast, so we had to do it again.

John, Im truly sorry that you and the Golconda crew had to deal with the situation at the river front public dock. As it was mentioned in a previous post, I had a terrible experience with the tow boaters a few years ago. We had total of 21 people that were turned away from the festivities and I have not attempted the journey since.

Nathan Torian and I attended a city commission meeting after the incident and explained the situation. Although the mayor and commission appeared sympethetic nothing has been done to fix the problem. At the next commission meeting the city manager presented a "fix" for the docking problem but as you can see it was never implemented.

I think I remember you guys going there now that you mention it......

I believe they have a fix for the situation now. By the year 2034 they'll have a new marina up and running.

At the rate they're going with the riverfront projects and the *** houses, they should srsly put another temporary dock in. Not that they would care, but maybe it's something we could all agree on in the meantime.
