awesome , saw your boat sitting in the campground and asked the guy with Rumrunner about it . that was september weekend of the fun run . 40 miles and 45 minutes is what i figured . hope to see you there !!

Will see, the Hot Rod Power tour is that week. Might pick that up in Memphis and take to Charlotte.

The Bel-Air is only about a mile from the KY Dam Marina Ramp and has room to park your boat if you dont rent a slip. Its not the Hilton but the rooms are clean and affordable. They also have cabins in the back if prefer, if you reserve a cabin ask for Unit #3 or #4 they are larger than the other two. No Hotels near the Moors unless you stay at the Moors Resort.

Cabins sound nice if its closer to the ramp, can you park boat trailers at the cabins ?

moors resort is great cabin or lodge room . lots of slips and tons of trailer parking . its the first place we stayed at ky and we loved it .
