Closed on our Condo Today!
 

Its official...no more hotel rooms!! my wife and i closed on our condo at Bend of the Rivers on Lake Barkley today, we get the keys on April 24th and plan to start moving in the weekend of April 26th. Its already been remodeled but we do have to paint so if anyone knows a good painter in the area let me know. If any other BOR owners are around that weekend stop in and say hello my name is Rob and my wife is Suzette...i promise i will not ask you to help me move furniture.

I sent Sarah's Uncle a text about a painter. He seems to know a lot of folks in the area. I'll let you know what he says.

Thanks let me know if he has any recomendations i want to get the painting out of the way first.

We just spent the weekend gutting our condo for a complete remodel. Might miss the first couple weekends of good boating. Will meet soon. Congratulations.

Congrats on the purchase. We are heading to Chattanooga next weekend for the poker run. Are you still doing Thunder Run on Cumberland in June? We are planning on Hickory Lake Poker Run in Late July. Are you guys still planning on doing that poker run.

Thanks! good to hear from you Shay, I just took my boat to the lake today and we will be at the condo finishing up the move now that the painting is finished. Yes we will be at the Thunder Run on Cumberland i booked my room at Grinder Hill back in Jan, really excited i've never been to Cumberland. I have Old Hickory on the list but have not signed up yet the layout is really different this year theres a link to the run on the TN powerboat section here on OSO, all that said i am planning on it. were the pictures sent recently? I do remember some right after the run last summer and then your buddy from SC (forgot his name)sent me a flash drive with a ton of pictures. if it works out you should try the Thunder Run it looks like a great weekend. Have fun this week at the Chattanooga.

I sent u an email recently with a bunch of pics from Hickory Lake last year, but if you got the flash drive from Steve sent you last year you have all the pics. Pretty sure we wont be able to make the Thunder Run on Cumberland. We are hitting Las Vegas for the pool parties May 22nd to May 27th. I am working out in Vegas 2 weeks prior to memorial day so I am flying the wife out for Memorial Day weekend. Poker Runs we are doing this summer are definitely the Nashville one at end of July, Emerald Coast Poker Run in Destin, and Lake Cumberland Poker Run first weekend after labor day in sept. We need to hook up down at Kentucky Lake/Barkley this summer.

Have fun in Vegas...we will be at the lake most every weekend to give a call/text. there is another fun run scheduled for June 8th leaving KY Dam at 10am and going to fat daddys or breakers.

Putting our condo up for sale if anyone is interested. Complete remodel last month. Completely furnished and raady to move in. Bought a bigger one and this one needs to go.

Joe which building are you in now? Someone stopped by my place when we were moving in and ask if it was for sale, she drove a small black SUV and lived in one of the buildings behind you. You might also check with Ruth Etta she sent two e-mails late last month about cash buyers looking for a one bedroom they might consider and efficency especially since you just remolded.

I am currently in 11F. I am under contract on a 2br in #10. I just replied to the email that was sent out and left a message at the phone # that was included. Thanks for reminding me of that.

Ran back down to Fat Daddy's again on Saturday. Was great boating weather this weekend. Sorry you had to miss it.

it was a nice day my son is begging to go back to see the waitress again guess i will have to make another run. I am heading off to Cumberland Thursday afternoon for the Thundre Run hope the wather is nice again this weekend.
