MRP,

Want to see what you can do to get Harley involved as a sponsorship and a bike ride to Mercury Racing, and the OSS race in Oshkosh. Got for it!

DB - See if Kenworth will jump in.

Darrel,

YES - we need to talk to coordinate efforts

Thanks guys for your passion for an OSS race in the Midwest!

Thanks for support Ryan. Took a good look at the bridge with multiple contractors. Not an issue.

Ron,

We are good to go.....

Although we did not have enough local support to pull off an OSS race this year THUNDERFEST will still happen. We plan on a Poker Run for all kinds of boats which will run up the beautiful Wolf River with festivities at SweetWater Marine and the Park Plaza hotel. We are gearing up NOW for an OSS race to happen in OSHKOSH in 2009. Anyone that would like to head up one of the 15 plus committee's it takes to run a race the safe and right way, please respond. Lets do this thing! The previous race held in Oshkosh called Shake the Lake was an awsesome event - Amie and I had fun with it. But we did not have enough people and support to keep it going. You can not run an annual event year after year with 10 people and not get burned out. I praise the volunteers that did show up to do the duty assigned to them, don't get me wrong, but there are a lot of people in this world that make a commitment and do not come through. My passion for another run at a race with more volunteers is huge in my heart... Let's make ThunderFest not only a Poker Run, but bring an OSS race back to OSHKOSH in 2009.

Hey Mark, You should post this on WiParty.com in the boating forum too. Bunch of local boaters here from NE Wisconsin.
