Yes we will do our unofficial speed run against a radar gun. It will take place Sat. afternoon after the OSS testing. Rules will be explained at the drivers meeting.

Sounds great! Will the P-Classes be racing on Sat. or Sun.

Also, who would I need to talk to regarding donating the use of a live digital broadcast of the race on a plazma screen?
OSS, BWORA, GLSCS, OPA, etc.????

All racing will be on Sunday. OSS does full course testing on Sat so the course will be laid out. Open insured testing on Sat with the Speed ( Kilo ) run in the afternoon. There will likely be three races on Sun starting at noon if the course is clear. Freighters ( up to 1000' ) have right of way!!! It can be challenging. You can start with me about the broadcast. What are the details? Steve Brunner Pres. BWORA

Is the kilo run open to anybody with insurance? Will there be rescue people on the water for it?
I found your website (www.bwora.org) but it doesn't say.
Thanks,

The plazmas can be strategically placed wherever you chose, my understanding is there will be cameramen filming footage for a taped delayed broadcast at some future date, so these can be fed via the internet to the screens......which can also be utilized to promote the sport, teams, associations any sponsors in place etc. Since the Detroit area has expressed a considerable amount of interest in helping us launch our network, I'm originally from that area, we may also sponsor a team, it may be a good fit???
