Default What prop and drive for 30

2005 30 Activator. Stock 525. Would a bravo 1 hold up or is a xr a must? Also what prop would be best?

The only 30 with a525 was the blue one, so if that is the boat , it ran best with a thinned out 27 herring 5 blade. However a labbed 30 bravo 1 worked pretty good, 84 mph in chop, cut 2 in off the skeg and pick up 2mph,that's if you have the xr sportmaster 2 in Shorty. The boat needs a 2 in Shorty nomatter what

Hey thanks for the reply. I am assuming it is the (blue boat) you talk about. Just not all blue now. Do you think I can get away with a bravo 1 drive? Looking forward to getting this thing together. Amazing to hear it will run 80+ with a 525.

Get a Bravo XR! Sportmaster -2" lower

The std Bravo will not last.

Good luck with your Activator!
