I tried spinning both ways, absolutely no difference in top speed, My boat porposed more turning " in " for some reason & took longer to plane

read the thread on "bad porposing 31" lots of opinions on this subject - I guess every boat/setup is different- Quest who won the LOTO shootout knows these hulls very well & he turns them out

Yes: I spin them out. I have tried both ways and there is no difference in top speed. I have run 140 MPH both in and out. I have found that Acceleration is better spinning out but porposing is less spinning in. I run a 2 ft tunnel tab and Imco extension boxes. George Linder the desiner of the boat insist that stability is better spinning them out and his theory is correct. Honestly I could not see any difference.

For some great information regarding prop rotation on the Chris style cat hulls, do a search on this site titled something like "Cat History" something? Rich Luhrs (T2x) was the author and is great reading. He address's the prop rotation issue with some real world results. Try this shortcut.
