fasteddie, I'm new on this message board but not new to hi perf boating. I just purchased a 1994 AO 2600. I picked it up yesterday, boat is mint , the only thing that I thought was odd is it has a single 50 gal belly tank in it, I know of other 2600's with (2) 45 or 50 gal side tanks, was this an option on this year? The range won't be very far with the 555 cu. in. 871 blown (800+ hp) chevy in it. Also have there been any changes to the bottom design compared to the newer models? Anything specific I should know about the 1994? I can't wait to give her a run in the spring! I live in upstate NY , It's gonna be a long winter. Any comments would be appreciated.

The single tank is standard. It is an option for the twinn(45 gal) tanks.
We raced two years ago with the single tank 500HP motor and believe me some races we were lucky to finish.
