Default A little more Spring in the air pics...

Here's a few preliminary pics of the Supercooled 548 getting ready to go back in. (minus the Supercooler obviously; it goes on in the boat)
Just did a refresh and a little face lift...
Dave

(BTW, this 100mph Heat will be for sale this year...
If anyone's looking have them get a hold of me)

Default Nice

Hi Dave,
Nice looking motor. Did you have to modify the hatch or the seat to get it to fit?
Regards,
Steve

Thanks Steve...
With the Supercooler on we had to raise the hatch ~1.25 inches overall. It's a parallel increase so it's not really noticable.

Is it going to be a carb or fuel injection?

You know me Linnie, Not much of a carb guy
It's the same setup as before with the FAST EFI and 72lb injectors.

I did however build a 555 carb motor as well this winter. The carb is from Willy's Carbs (Joe Gibb's carb guy) that should run very well. Check out the new proprietary J tube setup. They found the standard J tube to be robbing 12-14 hp. It also has adjustable metering blocks which is nice for us altitude guys.
RMBuilder has been very helpful to me with the cam and carb setup on this build.
Give me shout...
Dave

Hi Dave,
Looks great as usual. Tell us how she runs when you have it back together.
Regards,
Steve
