Probadly the 36 that SCALP TAKER back flipped in the NYC poker run a few years ago. There are very few #6 drive 36's, and very staggered 36's, his had Phaff's motors also. It would be a 1992 if it's the same boat.

I didn't even think that was possible. How did it happen? Too much speed + too much air???????

That was a sick boat. It rolled about 15-20 seconds ahead of us in the NYC poker run... All I could see was water and at the time we didn't even know which boat it was.
Let's hope the glass guys went thru the boat and did the necessary repairs. From the looks of the pictures here, it looks like they may have!

anyone is welcome to call me with any questions they might have, being i'm the one who flipped her. She did more than just roll. it cartwheeled vertically 2 or3 times before it sank in SALT water. I sure hope the guy who bought it from the salvage company came out and looked at it first. The insurance company made it look very attractive and advertised it with minimal damage, which was not true.
The motors wer spinning close to 6,000 rpms when it went down STERN first with NO engine hatches on. one the #6 drives are DAMAGED, cracked upper casing, and the skeg was ripped off. A big chunk of lamination is missing from the port side. and is cracked ALL over the boat. I belive the engines have a serious knock in them. we pumped 5 gallons of seawater out of them.
It's a shame and we are all lucky to be alive with no permanent injuries!!

On the surface the boat looks great with very nice updates such as dual helms, great paintwork and Fineline interior.
Let's not kill the hog before it goes to pasture and find out if/how the boat was repaired before making assumptions. From what I understand, the damage wasn't nearly as bad as first assumed.
