compression ratio
Is there a good web sit for figuring compression ratio?
I figured out my 454 with 118 cc heads and .018 head gasket and deck hight .02 below and get 7.3 to 1. I'm suppose to have 8.2 stock. I'm adding 10 cc for the head and deck hight.
Does this sound right?
Thanks
Dan

Re: compression ratio
Flat-top pistons or dome? If they have a dome you need to subract volume to account for them. That info is available from the piston manufacturer.

Re: compression ratio
Wobble,
Sorry to change the subject, but I saw earlier in your bad gas experience that you had a 29 stryker, always liked that boat, and never really can find info or any strykers for sale. If its not too big of a deal I would really like to see some pics of your boat. [email protected] Oh yea, Im in texas as well with a 40' excalibur.
thanks,
Kevin
