Either the quicksilver power trim or SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40 (regular motor oil). Per the service manual. I have been running 10W-30 for a couple of years.

I just replaced a trim pump reservoir on Saturday. The marina's mechanics use Dexron III ATF, and that's what I used. Works fine for me.

i called merc direct and asked them when i got mine.... they told me 10-30 motor oil. i put the same mobile 1 in those that i do in the motor and they have remained clear and clean as opposed to the other which turned grey and ugly in short order

You can run ATF or 10W-30 in any or all. The pumps are the same. ATF will give you a little faster trim though.
