Air Gap Intake Manifold
Just intalled 2 air gap intakes, and the large water hose from the thermostat housing to the water circulating pump is short about 1 inch. I got it on but it seems to flatten out the lower bend of the hose.. Inside diameter of that water hose is 1 3/4 ". In between standard pipe sizes. Has anyone else used these manifolds. Any ideas ??

Go to home depot or any other hardware store and look in the plumbing section and they should large hose barb conectors. Then cut your hose and install the conector till the hose is long enough.

You'll find that the hose from the 525SC will fit perfectly.

This was changing from the standard truck intakes on 330 HP 454's to Edlebrock Air Gaps with 4150's. 525 SC hose fit perfectly.

Good call on the barbed fitting. I've seen some use smooth plastic tubing and the clamps will not hold and eventually the hose comes off. Washes the engine compartment down quite nicely!
