Red face Imco riser gaskets

I have to replace my Imco riser gaskets. Do I install them dry or use some form of gasket sealer. I have some Indian Head laying around. For the younger guys,Indian Head sealant was the way to go back in the day. Thanks Joe

when I had IMCO the joint was dry, so there was no reason.

I guess I'm old, I have indian head sealer. O'Riely's still sells it

I always use sealer around water ports. Head gaskets included. Never had a failure. Even when re-used...
