Default 502 Heat Exchanger End cap blown off, help.

Hello I have a 1995 502 efi I put in last year and I thought I totally drained all the hoses and block. Well on my old 454 the heat exchange never needed draining and my inexperience with this one caught me in a freeze. The bolt on end cap opened up and it looks like the inside attachment threaded unit broke away. So water came running out at the lake on my first launch of the year yesterday.
Any ideas on the cost of a new exchanger?? The engine ran well with no other leaks I could see, anything else I should check?

pressure test the oil cooler and/or ps cooler. A radiator shop can probably repair your heat exchanger for $50.
