High rpm cutout?
I have a pretty muct stock 454/330 in my 1995 velocity 220. It just recently has started to cut out at top rpm (4800). It does not do it all of the time? I have installed new plugs, wires, and a coil, but still did it. Any ideas? I have a new high performance distributor to put in.

I don't know if the stock 1995's 454/330 have rev limiters or not?
I will check all of my connections and filters.
Thanks for the input.
The thing that bothers me about this is i can run it hard all day with no problems, then one time out of the blue it will have a slight cut out at top rpm. Then it will be fine again the rest of the day?
