Very little. I had a 99 and you could not tell very much difference between it and a 02. The main difference would be the colors on the newer models are brighter.

I have a 99 and my buddy has a 02, my X is about 1/2 higher, but I believe Baja played with the X a lot in 99. Other than that, the paint is different and thats about it.

the side vents are different but like everyone else said. same thing!!!
