2005 36 outlaw deckolite with 2" shorties ITS, power is 575 chillers 625-640hp , i'm running 32 lab 5 blades absolutely no problem getting on plane, amazing mid-range with a top speed of 86mph. Have seen 88 in 2 foot chops.

Do you have a 35 or 36 Outlaw? Did they already make a 35 for 2005? I am just curious as I haven't seen anything on a 35.

As far as your speed that is impressive also. What is the weight of your boat?

Forgot to ask, do the ITS drives have a built in set back? isn't it 7"? You mentioned you are running 5-blade 32's, your boat must be light on the water. I am running the Herring 6-blades but they are only a 28 pitch with 1.5 gears.

I would be happy to. It will take me a few days but I will try to get a picture and post it by next week. I appreciate your interest. We all spend a lot of time trying to make these Baja's run and it's nice to be on a site where everyone appreciates and is interested in what each other is doing.

Has to be a 2005 36 there is only one 35 hull that I know of so far and it didn't even have the deck on it yet and that was about 2 weeks ago.

If however I am wrong I would love to see that boat and that setup.

My boat has stellings boxes with latham
steering.
It has a plate on top of the drive that
has the mounting for the steering ram
yokes off to the side of the drive( as
opposed in the rear cap)

The steering cylinders appear to be the
same as those without boxes, that connect
up to the rear cap.

This setup may work for you..

Something else,
When IMCO was building their version of
the stern jack, they attached the rams
to the side of the drive extension,
( actually, their extension had the mounts
built into the extension)

I would imagine you could
attach a mount to the side of the
land and sea extension, and keep
the same length steering rams.

I really dont now about the set back but the boat is not light on the water i would even say i find it heavy, as for weight they say (dealer) that it's about 800lbs pounds lighter than a 36 standard. The big difference is how the boat is solid in rough water because of the carbonfiber stringers.

4 blades ?

If so, what size were the props and how did it perform ?

Sorry it took so,long to get back to you i was gone moose hunting, i did not try standard lowers but i did try 4 blades and it did not work,cause the X not done by the factory we did it very high and the 4 blade slip and we lost rpm and speed
