Default Any 2001 40' Baja Owners

Would like to hear your overall experiences with this boat -- and the brand. I see a couple of nice 40's in the classifieds, and am considering.

Thanks in advance.

well I don't own one, but they are nice. Been on one with trip 525's. It was a nice ride & ran really strong for a Baja. mid-80's was not a big deal for it. Baja says low 90's with that setup, but we never had a good stretch of water to get it ther in the hour I was on the boat.
There was one on Havasu with Whippled 500's that claimed over 100. It sold really cheap a few months ago. I think it went in the low 2's
