I have a 1984 Wellcraft Excalibur Hawk 40 with 454/400 Cyclones in it with RPM air gap intakes and 750 Demon carbs and with the stock 3" exhaust it runs 60 best on GPS with a half tank of fuel....I am upgrading to center riser and 4" exhaust now, as far as what they are worth I guess it would depend on what you figure to put into it plus what you can get it for added together and what you would ever be able to get out of it....Fred

I HAVE A 1983 HAWK 40 TOTALLY GONE THROUGH MOTORS, DRIVES, PAINT, AND INTERIOR.WITH BIGGER ROLLER CAMS, INTAKES, CARBS, AND EXHAUST IT RUNS BETWEEN 65 AND 70.HORSEPOWER AROUND 550.SO DON'T EXPECT A ROCKET SHIP BUT THE LOOK AND RIDE ARE AWESOME.THE COST IS HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO INVEST.IT'S CHEAPER THAN A 42 FOUNTAIN!

I must have started something here ! There's a lot of people Knockin on my door ( e-mailing)about this boat !

Hi Puder , Yeah I'm always aroound , just workoing more . You like my CHEESY wed site ? I desided to do it myself to cut costs . It's tuffer then I thought . Just need more time to work on it . I'll be at Skater fest . You going?

I don't know how this boat could be so fast . I wonder if the owner didn't know it had bigger engines then he thought . It WAS doing about 70 ! HE was right on my ass for miles !!!

Thanks guys for your input on this ship ! $$$ I can't say yet . I don't trust you guys !!
