Baja changed the X on the 30's after 2004 and put the drives lower in the water. This 2007 that is listed was built by Baja with the 2004 X. I'm the one that checked the boxes at the dealer meeting. All the smoked hatches, cabin door and raised X were all done at the factory. The 30's with a higer X and 496 HO's run very close to 80 on GPS.

I had a 2002 33 with 496 MAGs best I saw was 69 GPS with labbed Bblade props.

I have a buddy with one. I have raced him a few times, his runs about 71 on the GPS. This is going by me driving along side him, not with the GPS in his boat. Redbud (Alex) is a friend of his, I think the boat may be for sale.

If you are talking about BOB's boat, it really runs nice. I was shocked how quick it was the day I rode on it.

Depends on the setup. I know a 2005 30OL with HO's that would run 83 on GPS.

I almost pulled the trigger on a 30 OL 2 years ago, but then I started re-searching and read about the liner issues. I still am interested but how does one know if there have been repairs made on used 30OL? I was concerned the values would really drop but I haven't seen much changes in price.

Unless Sea Ray would tell you you'll never know if they've been repaired under warranty or not. Reason you don't see changes in prices is because people bought when it was 154k to buy a nice 30OL and they still owe that much. Or they rolled over the loss on they're trade into it.

I think Bobs 33 runs a solid 74gps. My 35 would run 71-72. He could always get around me with the 33. And that was with stock props on his.
It is for sale too!
