Don't aplogize! This whole thread has been a ball following. It's just hard to understand what some of you guys are talking about.
So anyway, who has the bad treads? I thought we were talking boats?

What do you have under your hatch for an engine?

What type of speed are you getting out of it?

I just wanted to end the remarks.

I came on the site to learn more about my boat and get assistance since,

I don't have a close by mechanic who is an expert on my boat. The mechanic I have is great, and willing to learn what is needed to help me with my boat. He consults with a friend who had a high performance boat, and built two 540 v 8 all tweaked out. So my boat is a learning process
for the both of us. I have boated all my life but first speed boat of this nature.

I wish I could find a marina or mechanic who has alot of experience with this type of boat and engine. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to, but this new mechanic I have is willing to learn and do research in order to best assist me. If his friend can't answer certain problems, then i will have to find him an expert who can help him, help me

Do you know of anyone who could help? Or would be willing to help him?

What is the top speed of your boat?

I have a hard time believing you`ve boated for 30 years.. unless it was sailboating. Why do you keep repeating yourself even in the same post? Sorry but reading your posts, it`s like reading the ramblings of a 10 year old.

Anyway, not that it matters any but to answer your question:
