Stumbled across this on eBay. Don't think they made too many of these.

I'd imagine they would porpoise bad being butt heavy and be a bear to work on. Prob run 65 maybe? Anyone's thoughts?

I'm sure the boat rides fine (for a baja, I had a 24', rode like ****), notice both props are turning the same direction, hull was most likely designed to compensate for that. Years ago I ran a 24' Sonic with the props turning the same, no porpoise issues or handling issues, although it was a Donzi hull. Back in the 70's, counter rotating props were not common.
I would think 4 blades would pull too hard to one side (port, I think).

I would not buy this for the fact of how hard it would be to work on the engines, how many times do you think the back seat has been out? My fav twin small block boat was the wellcraft nova 260 very easy to work on. How do those compare to the 265 force?

I have a 88 240 sport..exact same hull as this boat..these boats are 8 foot wide. They are not any narrower then a 30 foot outlaw..Honestly two big blocks would fit beside each other in this boat I would think. They are just as wide if not wider then a 29 scarab, or a 29 fountain, and those come with twin big blocks..I think this boat would be a amazing candidate for a twin LS motor swap with some bravos..Two 600+ motors that would weigh just a couple of hundred more pounds then a single 502 it would be a screamer..

Compared to what?? I run my boat through some nasty stuff and it just keeps on trucking..I boat at Lake of the Ozarks, and we all know that loto is some of the nastiest water you can run. There is no constant water at loto. Ya my boat doesn't ride like your AT, but its 8ft shorter. I have surprised many 29 fountains by cruising on past them in the rough, the looks on their faces are pricesless. Im sorry your thought on how these boats ride like s***..but it does take a lot of driver input to make them run through the rough, there definitely isn't just a put the sticks to the wood and hold on. Its a never ending tab, and trim and throttle input game, which makes it fun, I would get bored just steering.
