New Exhaust tips on 2004 25' Outlaw
Well I helped my friend on replacing his exhaust tips off of his new Outlaw with 496HO, the ones from BAJA sucked, seriously he was really disappointed in the quietness of the 496ho. The original one only had like a 2" opening the new ones are like 4" and I mean this is one mean sounding 25 Outlaw now.
So point of my story is if you think you Baja doens't sound mean enough start with replacing your exhaust tips

I've heard a lot of people complain about the stock tips. How about some pics and more details of the changes to your buddies boat?

yeah I think I know exactly what your talking about. Mine were the Corsa quick and quiet, they were ok but not what I was looking for. I replaced them with Rex Marine 90degree cuts w/ internal flappers. It's like a night and day difference now. This is w/ 454 mag.

Replaced the corsa quick and quiets on the 98 24 Outlaw I just sold with Eddie Marine angle cuts for the same reason,,,didn't help performance one bit but sounded one hell of alot better..straight bolt on job, the mounting holes lined up perfectly,,,took longer to get the hoses off than it did to change the tips.

Sorry for the slow response, my friens used the Stainless marine, when he priced them they were the same as corsa but cheaper, http://stainlessmarine.com/exhaust1.html
Any way it didn't take but 30-40 mins at the most to do, and completely worth it.
