.38 Special Sink @ LOTO?
We were at the shootout and there was a .38 Special nearby. We left around 4 or so to beat the rain. Our friends called us about 1 hour later and said the .38 had sank in about 65 ft water. No other details.
Anyone know what happened?

Re: .38 Special Sink @ LOTO?
This is the report I got from one of the guys on the boat that sank.
Saturday night after the Shootout was over, we went to Backwater Jack's and he said, it was a 32 ft Black Thunder DonVee(sp?). It must have been and OLD one but he said the owner just had a ton of work done to it. Anyway he said he felt water hitting his ankles and said...are we taking on water? Within 2 min the boat was down. It went down so fast they didn't even get a buoy on it to mark it. It was full of fuel too. It happened around the 22 mile marker. I asked him if they had lost a drive and he said he didn't know. I asked him if they had recovery insurance and he said...what? We have insurance. If he didn't know what was recovery insurance...I bet they did not have it. At least everyone was safe. I am not sure I would be out at a bar right after the boat I was just on sank. I think I would be somewhere on my knees thanking the big man upstairs that I am still alive.
