I agree with too old. Ive bought stuff from members on here and so far I have been extremely satisfied with the transactions and if I wasnt, it has been resolved very nicely. I dont see any point in letting known problems in to tarnish the family atmosphere.

Ive sent things out before getting paid before to OSO members. Never a problem, but most of us value our membership and realize we spend way too much time in here to screw it up.

Now EBAY, I wouldnt ever send anything out early before getting paid. Guys like this piss me off because it screws things up for the honest people trying to make an honest deal.......

I agree there are legitimate dealings that have happened on this board, however, I have been "done wrong" on this board by what I thought was a legitimate deal when I bought a Pela Oil Extractor. When I went to change my oil last weekend, guess what, I could not hold vacuum with this thing because it was cracked!

I also have sent checks before recieving parts on OSO without problems, and for that I would like to thank all the honest fellow boaters on this site that share the same attitude as I towards helping others out.
Martin.

The Thunderdome crowd hisses and jeers. Looking very scary in the OSO thong bikini, Tina Turner is heard above all to say...

"Bust a deal and spin the wheel.... "

spin, spin, spin...

"Let 5 decide"

I say ban 'em. We don't want that kind of trouble here.

Next 4?

Good Thread

I don't believe the board gods will banish this post. This is why we are here, to learn from others mistakes and pass on to other members our experiences good or bad. I do not believe we should bash a member, but on the other hand if they belong here with other family boater members, then they should follow a simple rule of ethics. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It always works.
