Boat is big but the 55 (in pictures) looks like a better representation of the brand. The 48 looks like an old Magnum with a Cigarette interior. The 55 has shade which is going to be priceless compared to the 48 which has a high freeboard combined with a wrap around windshield to give no breeze when running. I like that Cigarette is thinking but I just don't love what they are creating.

The white gel on the starboard quarter (above the logo) was dimpled/ imperfect in a 2 ft area. The rub rail was crooked, looked like a last minute install by Stevie Wonder. Boat should have been built with diesels/ generator. A Formula 400SS/ Fountain 48 EC are better alternatives but not as flashy.

The 42X was the best looking Cigarette at the show but Phil's Purple 42X was nicer last year.

I think this boat has a lot of potential. I like the go-fast cruiser concept and I think we will be seeing a lot more of these types of boats in the future.

I'd like to see a Lip****z edition with twin diesels and Arnesons. That'd be hot.

1) I was on it for quite a bit today. I liked it. It has a LARGE, cool, cockpit and a great cabin with a GIANT head. 6 Ft + of headroom. and is very well appointed.

2) This is gonna sell like crazy in Europe. As a business, that's what matters.

3) The #1 hull 39' TopFish was not a well received piece either. That didn't stop them from refining it and selling well into the 20's of them.

4) It could definitely stand more power from the numbers I heard, but I don't think surface drives are gonna happen. Maybe, diesel, but no arnesons etc..

After seeing the boat in person, I think it has incredible potential. I've had 2 cigs and now an OL. Many people want more room, and that boat has it.

Cig is a great brand, but the 8 foot beam has limited their cabins, esp after the stepped hulls were introduced. Now, you add a comfortable cabin for the ladies, ( and dudes), big comfy cockpit to hangout, and the the cool rigging of cigarette, you have a nice boat. The fact that it isn't a triple digit boat won't deter those people looking for that boat. You can own a cig, have the fun of a powerboat, in luxury. I imagine when they put some big power in it, go to work on it with their graphics, cool dashes, etc like cig does the best, their will be a huge demand. It will likely evolve into a cool machine. Soon too.
