Gotcha You didn't say you already had the 3A's.

When I buy a Top Gun in 2 yrs, it will have Arnesons on it. Can't beat the speed increases and durability. Done with busting Bravo's.

3A's are an awesome drive! Had em on our gun and loved them. The Top Guns were actually built for trannies and run better with them. You'll have a bullet proof package.

The notch does not have an effect on the Arneson's. We have them on both notched and non notched transom Cig's.

Faster and handle better than the #3's/TRS or Bravo's

Jamie Tank had 3a's with Hawk Power so he would know about the ride. Bravo Top Guns porpoise at certain speed. I can't wait for you to buy a Cigarette, especially because we all know how much Scot (ss930) secretly wants "1"

Yep, except it was Merc 525SC's not hawks. With the motors pushed forward the CG is correct with a trannied gun.

Now it's a matter of moving money around, and seeing the boat myself. Still trying to decide if this is a good idea. I have a 40 in real nice shape already but its no top gun.

I wish I could afford arnesons but I am in no way in a position to spend that much. I'm scraping together and selling just to see if I can come up with enough to buy the boat less power. Didn't mean anything negative against them just beyond my budget.

Sorry if I am mistaken Emmet!
