Default Info on this top gun?

Anyone know this boat?

Any differences in a bravo boat than a speed master or trs boat? Other than the obvious.

I'd say bravos are more sought after. Since they are easily replaced. I've seen it at local runs. Always looked nice from the dock, but others on here could give you better feedback

I don't want the bravos, If I'm able to put a deal together they'll be off in the first day.

I know the owner. He's one of the nicest guys in the local boating circle. Definately a straight shooter, and no bad history on it physically.

The boat was once owned by OSO member CashBar way back in he day. It was embroiled in the National Marine scandal years ago, sold without paying off title, etc. It's all fair and square now though.

HEy I appreciate the comments on the boat. :-) I dont think the boat was ever caught up in the Nat liqidators mess. I bought it from Trace martin in Jan of 2004. It belonged to a gentleman that took it to the bahamas on the weekends to play golf. He sold it because in the bahamas he had it on a lift that you filled with air. When they disallowed the lift at the marina he bought a midnight express. Thank You for taking an interest.

Why mess with putting 3A's on it. Then you have to add trannies--another thing to break. And changing the CG of the boat.

Put Arneson's on it and go 8-10 mph faster than it runs now and no failures. Plus the 3A's will most likely slow it down a bit.

Check out KVOGT's Cig on here. He has Arneson's and it hauls the mail !!

You buying????? Plenty of top guns were built with speed masters and trs. So I don't see the cog being an issue. I own the 3's for $0 and there less prone to break than bravos. Don't have the money for arnesons.

Kvogt's cig is a flat deck, no notch in the transom. Not sure how arnesons would react on a notched boat either.
