Default Mistress Trailer

Need some help deciding on a new trailer for my Mistress.

Should i just spend the money and get the Myco or should i look at some other builders?

I'm happy with my HI-TECH for half the price. Probably would have preferred Manning, but ended up with HITeCh

although Myco is touted as the standard occasionally someone will identify issues that don't justify the purchase price. Do a search on Myco.

What about ace trailers? How important is it to have one custom built for your boat or buying one that can be fitted to your boat?

Custom trailers with bunks that match your boat will load much easier than generic trailers. Trailers with two long vertical bunks are a major pain to get the boat centered.

My Mistress had a Myco that originally came with it, it was rusted beyond safe use. I picked up a slightly used Real X Trailers aluminum trailer that I adjusted to fit the boat well and it now loads as easy as the Myco. It has 6 wheel electric over hydraulic disc brakes and 8 lug wheels, all the hardware is stainless too. Im not sure what they cost new but I wouldn't hesitate to check it out, very high quality.

My Mistress sits on a 89 Myco, still in good shape and was a FL boat for most of its life...
