Default Power to get a TS gun to 100mph

In real world what does it take to get a gun to go 100?? Do you have to run extension boxes and shorties or can you get away with the stock setup? Power to drive issues aside, will 750 per side get me there?? HP50efi's, Bravo XR's 1.50, twin step, etc.

Since stock Mercruiser 575's and XR's with the right Herings are getting, what, 92-94 mph, I would think that 750 per through the stock set up would get you there, or pretty damn close anyway.

Have you asked Tres ?

Default 100 mph

We have done three of them, two with 750 Cobra's T/S 12 inch set back boxes,xr drives (no sportmaster) boats ran 104/106.Third one was a T/S 500 efi's with Vortex,no boxes,Imco shorts,99.2, all speeds GPS.Your going to need a true 700 hp to break the 100 mark.
