Default 39 cig

Hey Greek, you have me thinking again. Let's see what the rest of these guys think. I'm going to buy a new 38 and Greek thinks I should go with the new 39. It's new tecnology I know, but it hasn't been proven yet. However I don't want to buy the 38 and have cig discontinue it and just replace it completely with the 39. What do you guys think? Also, the speeds are not better, at least from what I've seen. Plus the price is like 20 grand more.

You cannot go wrong with either. The 38 will not be dropped any time soon if ever at all.I think the 39 needs some fine tuning ,but supposably rides real nice. Its a tough choice, I would drive both and then decide.

If you buy new I would go with the 39.
If you want a 38 shop around you'll get a good deal on something with less than 75 hours around here.

The new 39 Top Gun Unlimited has a totally new hull because they had many requests for a staggered engine 38 and after some playing around they decided to design a totally new hull that would accommodate the staggered engine configuration and still have a real cockpit. The cockpit is available with either side-by-side or split bolsters and you can actually sit down in the bolster without banging you knees on the dash. I don't think Cigarette will replace the 38 Top Gun with the 39 as the 38 has been their bread and butter forever. Both boats are great either way. Enjoy.
