I'am Looking For Pictures Of Bob Kaiser's "excalibur" Boat That He Ran Back Then. I, Believe, That The Canopyies Were Painted A Tainted Color. Sure Appreciate Any Help...the Boat Painted Black,trimmed In Gold Lettering... Thanks, Sal

Do you recall who designed and built the 'Popeye's' in that pic?

Don't know who designed it, but it was built down the street from me in Rhode Island at Eric Goetz's shop.

Charlie is right...That is/was a Goetz Hull.......I think Sirois had a lot of input into that design as well.

There was also another Cougar with a single in line cockpit..... built after that. I don't think Al ever raced it, and it wound up in Japan with Idoni....

Peter Birkett, who drew Branson and Gentry transatlantic boats did it to Bill's spec.
