Iīve wrenched Racecars from ASA late models to FIA GT ( Oreca Viper/ Lambo Gallardo) F3 and Formula Fords and those all share little in common with the showroom model.
The ASA Stocker had only two small plastic pieces in the front from a regular Firebird and even the body is totally different. The Viper the same when you compare a stock one.
The Gallardo is a AWD stock but a RWD as a racers.... and Formulas... well.
Regarding how much one wrenches a boat compared to a racecar.. well Iīd change jobs to boats anyday witnessing a friend racing his boat and time consumed in the garage.
Offshore racing is the only form of Motorsport that has been said you can become a "world champ" if you have the wallet, as a driver or navigator only thou IMO. The Throttlemen are mostly proīs.
