Default MSD box interchangeability

i've got an MSD 6m2 (6460) on my single 454 chevy and have been thru 2 boxes previously. my current one is coming up on it's third season and i'd like to carry a spare. i know the 6460 is NLA and would like to know if the 6560 is a "plug n play" swap (ie all the plugs are identical.) don't to be playing wiring modification games while floating dead in the middle of nowhere! thanx in advance for your help.

yes,the new box has the exact same weatherpack plug for wire hookup, the difference is the new box does not hook up to the external rev limiter,it is built in,and it comes with some plug in chips.
