No, the x-dim will not change. It will bolt right on, no problem.

Be sure your gear ratio's are close, but now you can use a #6 style hub prop same as your #5 or #3A Merc. Your old #4 and a #3 have the same prop. shafts just diff. x demen. "that is heights"

Tilt pin diameter is 7/8 on the IV, 1" on the V. Find someone to make a stepped pin for you. Used to do it all the time.
