Your better off pulling the motor,,,,,and Merc doesnt do it as its one more place for water to get in

Yeah - that is not what you want to hear, but you are better pulling the motor. Everyone is right - if you have Y-pipes I don't think you could EVER get it off - internal steering, or any coolers, etc.... will also make it impossible.

i bought a gantry crane, trolley, and chain hoist from Harbor Freight - out the door for less than 500 bucks.
