How to remove bravo gimble without removing transom assy?

Can anyone explain to me or point me in the right direction on how to to remove a bravo gimble without removing the transom assy?

If not you can rent a puller and reach through with the jaws, and pull the bearing by pulling against the bellhousing.

Oh - sorry, misunderstood, thought you meant the bearing housing.
You HAVE to get the bolt on the upper swivel pin, and you could use that kit that he sells at JRMARINE.com.
If you have to get it off, I would just pull the engines. My seals went bad last year and I decided that pulling the engines (despite it being my first time) would probably make the job just as easy....

The time spent trying to reach the bolts and chit behind the motor, you'd be hrs ahead to pull the motor. You can have a motor out in an hr in a single. Providing you do have a hoist. Gotta support thr back anyways to try to leave it in. But I would have to think it's possible, if you don't have thru the prop exhaust. The Y-pipe has bolts that I don't think you will get to with the motor in, and it has to come off to remove the transom assembly.
