These are all great answers but nothing is really very cost effective, a bmax drive or extension boxs aren't too cheap, I'm only 24 and don't want to break down and spend 15g+ to get back on the water. I think I'm going to get a brand new, new style swept back bravo one and run it till it does it again.

What broke in your bravo one? I am running 800-850 hp and broke my bravo 1 drive as well. After taking it apart I saw it blew the thin floored bottoms out of the gear. I just got done rebuilding it with the thick floored x gears and its back running. I'm being very easy on it so it holds up, but the thin floored gears lasted 20 minutes only cruising with a 32p prop. The new setup ran perfect this past weekend.
If you are interested in working on it yourself pm mr gadget on this site and I'm sure he can advise you on what would help you keep the drive together. He helped me out when I was building and setting up my drive.

It also lifts the prop higher with trim because it sticks out further. They are cool and I'd want to keep it too. It seems like you could put the longer input shaft on an XR upper though.
