That is what that boat was built with from the factory. It runs at the surface for less drag and more speed. I believe it users XR gears and some shafts. And shoots a nice roost !! Nothing to be afraid of if you are thinking about buying it.

The true Blackhawk hull differs in that it has rocker built in. My main concern would be that parts are getting hard to find and if converted to Bravo the rocker can cause handling issues.

Yes if that was an original Blackhawk boat the hull is set up for it. And it really likes it Probably worth almost 10 mph over a standard Bravo boat.

As far as parts hard to find a good number of the components are the same as a Bravo 3. And drives come up on Ebay all the time.

I happen to have 8 brand new housings and enough new parts to put together 4 complete drives.

They are a really cool surface drive with dual props to keep the boat going straight. That being said, props are getting very hard to find, more so than parts

Are you holding on to the parts or willing to let some go?

It would be a travesty to take that BlackHawk off. Such a fun, great handling boat for their size.

Wouldn't mind having a vertical shaft and a case?
