Wow, thans for the help guys. I found a smoking deal on the interlux bilge kote so I am going to give that a shot. I am also going to add in some hardener and see what that does. I'll post some pics when I'm done. If I don't like the Linterlux I am going to try some Rustolium with hardener.

I just did a Google search on RustOleum boat painting and there is a ton of it. Some awesome looking results, and a few guys mention using this hardener. LOL
Thanks
If you want something fun to look up, look up painting cars with rustoleum.

I followed the instructions using the prep solvent. Also between coats I scuffed the paint with scotchbrite pads and wiped down again with the recommended prep. May been over kill, but just went with the instructions and it turned out great. Their tech line is superb. Had some questions on some of their other products that they helped me with.
BTW, Do not let it build up in the corners. It will not dry.

Im doing inside the sponsons of the 24. Since you can see into them, they always get oily so the bilgecoat looks like the best product. Ill need more than a quart so Im shoppin for best prices!

Sorry, not trying to beat a dead horse here. But from personal experience if you leave a half quart of rust oleum and the additive mixed up overnight you'll find a rock in the morning.

Was talking specifically about the Interlux Bilgecoat paint. No experience using the additive or Rustoleum

follow the directions and just don't spray it unless you have the proper equipment or it just may kill you. lol

I mean professional rustoleum oil base enamel and add the hardener? I'm redoing my bilge and the rustoleum thing sounds good but I want to make sure I use the right stuff. I went to there website but it says nothing about the use on fiberglass, just metal, masonry. Thanks
